Free Fire server regions
Garena runs Free Fire on separate regional servers, and most redeem codes are minted for one server only. Knowing which server your account sits on tells you instantly whether a given code can work for you — before you waste an expiring window on it.
All server regions
Codes tagged ALL work everywhere, but these are uncommon and usually tied to
anniversary or global collaboration events.
| Tag | Server region | Primary territories | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
IND | India | India | Free Fire MAX; the largest single player base |
BR | Brazil | Brazil | High code volume, frequent creator events |
SG | Singapore | Singapore, Malaysia | Often shares codes with nearby SEA servers |
ID | Indonesia | Indonesia | Very active regional event calendar |
TH | Thailand | Thailand | Separate local event schedule |
VN | Vietnam | Vietnam | Operated with local publishing partners |
TW | Taiwan | Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau | Sometimes listed as TW/HK/MO |
ME | Middle East | Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt and neighbours | Also covers parts of North Africa |
NA | North America | United States, Canada, Mexico | Occasionally grouped with LATAM |
EU | Europe | European territories | Lower code frequency than SEA or BR |
PK | Pakistan | Pakistan | Sometimes bundled with the ME server |
CIS | CIS | Russia and CIS territories | VK login is common here |
ALL | Global | Every server | Rare — anniversaries and global collabs |
How to check your region
From inside the game
- Open Free Fire or Free Fire MAX.
- Tap your profile avatar in the top-left corner of the lobby.
- Read the region or server field on the profile panel.
From the rewards site
- Sign in at reward.ff.garena.com with your linked account.
- The account panel displays the region attached to your player ID.
Once you know your tag, scan the region badge on each code card before attempting it.
A code tagged BR will never redeem on an IND account, no matter
how fresh it is.
Why region locking exists
Codes are usually attached to a specific promotion — a regional esports broadcast, a local brand partnership, a country-specific patch event. Garena scopes the reward to the audience the promotion was funded for, which means the code is minted against one server's player database.
Region cannot be changed or bypassed
Two things follow from this, and both disappoint players regularly:
- Your server is permanent. It is assigned at account creation and there is no transfer mechanism. Playing on another server means a fresh account with no progress, no purchases and no rank.
- A VPN does nothing. The rewards site reads the region from your account record, not your connection. Changing your apparent country has no effect on whether a code validates.
Ignore any service selling a "region unlock" or account transfer. Garena provides no such mechanism, so nobody can resell it. These offers exist to take payment, account credentials, or both — and sharing your login is grounds for a ban under Garena's terms regardless of who you shared it with.
Which regions get the most codes
Code volume tracks player population and local marketing spend. India, Brazil and the
Southeast Asian servers see the highest frequency, often several codes a week around events.
Europe and North America see fewer regional codes but full access to global ALL
drops. If your region is quieter, the anniversary and collaboration windows are where your
odds are best.
