Free Fire redeem code FAQ

The questions players ask most, answered plainly. If you are troubleshooting a specific error message, the code not working guide covers each one in detail.

The basics

What exactly is a Free Fire redeem code?

A 12-character string of uppercase letters and digits issued by Garena. Entered at the official rewards site, it credits a one-time in-game item to the account you signed in with — typically a weapon skin, character bundle, emote, pet, loot crate or royale voucher.

Where do I redeem one?

Only at reward.ff.garena.com. That is Garena's own Rewards Redemption Site and the single place a Free Fire code can be claimed. No third party — this site included — can redeem on your behalf.

How often does Garena release new codes?

There is no fixed schedule. Codes cluster around in-game events, patch releases, esports broadcasts, creator collaborations and anniversaries. High-population regions such as India, Brazil and Southeast Asia may see several a week; quieter regions see fewer.

Are the codes free?

Yes, always. Garena publishes every legitimate code openly at no cost. Any site charging for a code, gating one behind a survey, or asking for your password is running a scam.

Why is your code list sometimes empty?

Because we only publish a code after verifying it against an official Garena source, and most codes stay claimable for just 12–24 hours. When nothing verified is live, the list stays empty. Showing you a dead code to look busy would waste your time and cost us your trust.

Eligibility and limits

How long does a code stay valid?

Typically 12 to 24 hours from publication. Some event codes additionally carry a fixed redemption quota and die early once enough players claim them.

Can I use one code on multiple accounts?

Usually yes, as long as each account is in the code's permitted region and the overall quota has not been exhausted. Each individual account can claim a given code only once.

Can guest accounts redeem?

No. The rewards site has no guest login. Bind your profile to Facebook, Google, X, Apple or VK via Settings → Account & Security in game, then sign in with that provider.

Do codes work on both Free Fire and Free Fire MAX?

Yes. The two clients share one account and progression system, so a code redeemed on either appears in the same mailbox. In India, Free Fire MAX is the supported client.

Is there a limit to how many codes I can redeem?

Garena imposes no overall cap. You can redeem every code you are eligible for. The only limits are one claim per code per account, plus region and quota restrictions.

Rewards and delivery

How long until the reward arrives?

Usually a few minutes. Garena's official window is up to 24 hours, so give it a full day before treating anything as missing.

Where do rewards appear?

Skins, bundles, emotes, pets and crates land in the in-game mailbox. Diamond Royale and Weapon Royale vouchers go to the vault instead — this is the step most players miss. Gold and currency are credited straight to your balance.

Can codes give free diamonds directly?

Rarely, and never in large amounts. Most diamond-adjacent codes grant Diamond Royale vouchers, which are spins on the royale wheel, rather than diamonds themselves. Any offer of thousands of free diamonds is fabricated.

Nothing arrived after 24 hours. What now?

Contact Garena support directly with your player ID, the exact code, and the approximate redemption time. No third-party site can recover or reissue a reward.

Safety and scams

Do diamond generators work?

No. Only Garena can mint diamonds or codes, so no external tool can generate either. Generator sites exist to harvest login credentials, farm ad revenue or push malware. Attempting to use one can get your account permanently banned.

How do I spot a scam site?

Any one of these is enough to walk away:

  • It asks for your Free Fire password.
  • It promises unlimited or generated diamonds.
  • Codes sit behind a survey, app install or "human verification" step.
  • It charges money for a code.
  • It hosts a redemption form on any domain other than reward.ff.garena.com.

Legitimate sites publish codes openly and send you to Garena to redeem.

Can I be banned for using redeem codes?

Not for using legitimate codes on the official site — that is exactly what they are for. Bans come from sharing account credentials with third parties, using unauthorised tools, or attempting to exploit the redemption system.

Is this website affiliated with Garena?

No. Redeem Code Free Fire is an independent fan resource with no affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship from Garena International or Sea Limited. All Free Fire trademarks and game assets belong to their respective owners. See our full disclaimer.

Will you ever ask for my password?

Never. We have no login, no account system and no reason to want one. If any page claiming to be this site asks for Free Fire credentials, it is not us — close it and let us know.
